Loka Dokumentasi Arsitektur Vernakular or LDAV is a lab that manages data and document field research reports. The field documentation were conducted by students, in the department of arcitecture, under its annual excursion program while research projects were carried out by lecturers, independent researcher or post graduate students. In managing the documentation process LDAV involve students, lecturers and local resources.
LDAV is under the Department of Architecture University of Indonesia and it is operated by a small team of academic individuals consists of active lecturer, students, retired lecturer and hired individuals.
Though at present time LDAV will mostly database field research conducted by the university individual or group, LDAV opens to independent individual or group of researcher in maintaining the objective to document and inform to the public at large.
